Kanaka Creek Hike

Kanaka Creek is in our back yard, well about an hour walk away so Gianni and I decided to walk to the entrance and do the the trail and then walk home. What was special was our son Steven and his wife Sarah and our grandsons Weston and Jameson meet us there. The hike is a 2.3 km loop trail and very easy to do. We took 50 walking slowly with the kids but can easily be done in 30 minutes at a fast pace. There are a lot of people using it so have to ensure you social distance during COVID. Lots of beautiful forest and river views along the way. It is located on the Kanaka Creek Regional Park and more information can be found here https://www.mapleridge.ca/facilities/facility/details/Kanaka-Creek-Regional-Park-75
