Did you know studies have shown flowers provide us lots of benefits? Here are some you should be aware of and maybe you will take the time to get into nature and literally smell the flowers:
Flowers can increase creativity and productivity - having flowers in a vase at work as help lower confusion, fatigue, stress and anxiety. Being more relaxed allows us to be more creative and productive
Flowers can help us sleep - many studies have shown a dash of lavender on our pillows allows us to have a better sleep. But also being around them allows us to be more relaxed therefore helping our sleep patterns
Flowers can help clean the air - this was proven by NASAs Clean Air Study, where they placed plants in the astronauts small spaces and found air was cleaner where the flowers and plants were
Growing flowers - best way to connect with nature is grown and nurturing the plants so they give you the best flowers. The peace and serenity that comes from this activity is immense, which in turn is great for our well-being
Flowers are great mood changers - have you ever received flowers when you are sick or just had surgery, well I have, and nothing does a body and mind good as a beautiful bouquet of flowers
Taking pictures of flowers always make me happy as they are truly bringing joy and happiness to everyone around them. I wouldn't have thought I'd see so many flowers in Italy but in Stresa and Udine alone I have close to 100 photos of different varieties. Stresa's is known for it's flowers and the signs coming into the town make you aware that flowers are their thing:

Scattare foto di fiori mi rende sempre felice perché portano davvero gioia e felicità a tutti che li circondano. Non avrei pensato di vedere così tanti fiori in Italia, ma solo a Stresa e Udine ho quasi 100 foto di diverse varietà. Stresa's è noto per i suoi fiori e i cartelli che arrivano in città ti fanno capire che i fiori sono la loro cosa:

Quando ho aggiunto informazioni in questo blog, ho appreso che Apple ha una funzione chiamata Visual Look Up nelle foto che ci consente di identificare cose come punti di riferimento, animali, libri, opere d'arte e piante. There are two flowers that grow in abundance in Stresa. They are both very fragrant and you can't miss them when you are walking. They are Jasmine and White Lilac. Below is a video of them. I wish there was smellavision so you could get the just of how much they fill the air with their beauty and scent.

In Grions del Torre and Povoletto of Udine area, the flowers were totally different but beautiful in their rights. When I took my morning walks there were wheat fields as far as the eyes could see and in them poppies grew to give them a tinge of red. Absolutely serene!
A Grions del Torre e Povoletto di Udine i fiori erano totalmente diversi ma belli a pieno titolo. Quando camminavo la mattina c'erano campi di grano e in essi crescevano i papaveri che davano loro una sfumatura di rosso. Assolutamente sereno!
