Roasted Broccoli & Cauliflower

Serving size 4


3 cups broccoli

3 cups cauliflower

2 cloves garlic

1 lemon

2 tbsp oil

1 tsp salt

½ tsp pepper

2 tbsp grated Parmesan

2 tbsp chili flakes (optional​)


  1. Preheat oven to 400°

  2. Cut broccoli and cauliflower into two inch chunks and add to large bowl

  3. Coarsely chop garlic and add to bowl

  4. Squeeze juice of lemon into bowl

  5. Add oil, salt and pepper and chili flakes to bowl

  6. Toss all the ingredients together so broccoli and cauliflower are coated

  7. Place everything onto cookie sheet bake for 25 – 30 minutes until tops are brown. Test with fork for desired doneness.

  8. Remove from oven and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Serve immediately
