Cheesy Veggie Bake

Serving size 10


4 cups carrots

12 cups cauliflower

12 cups broccoli

4 tbsp butter

5 tbsp flour

3 cups milk

5 slices craft cheese

1 cup grated parmesan cheese

¼ cup bread crumbs

Salt and pepper to taste (I use Lowry’s Garlic Salt)

Cooking spray


  1. Pre-heat oven to 390˚F

  2. Cut veggies into 2 inch pieces

  3. Steam each veggies separately until tender

  4. Spray a deep casserole dish

  5. Place each veggie in a row

  6. Melt butter and add flour, stir until blended, should be thick paste look

  7. Slowly add 1 cup milk so that it smooths out the paste

  8. Add cheese slices and parmesan cheese and keep stirring until thick smooth cream

  9. Add rest of milk slowly and cook until smooth sauce

  10. Add garlic salt to taste

  11. Pour over veggies

  12. Sprinkle bread crumbs all over veggies

  13. Bake uncovered for ½ hour until golden on top
