Palm Sunday was the beginning of Holy Week which lasts for seven days leading up to Easter which includes the important events below however, today I will talk about Spy Wednesday or Holy Wednesday.
Holy Wednesday in Christianity, commemorates the Bargain of Judas as a Clandestine spy within the disciples and hence why it is also called Spy Wednesday. In the New Testament, after Palm Sunday the Sanhedrin (Jewish legislative and judicial assembly) gathered and plotted to kill Jesus before the feast of Pesach (Passover).
On Wednesday before his death, Jesus was in the house of Simon the Leper in Bethany with his disciples. A woman named Mary anointed Jesus’ head and feet with costly oil of spikenard and the disciples wondered why the oil was not sold and money given to the poor. But Judas Iscariot, one of Jesus’ 12 apostles, wanted the money for himself and went to Sanhedrin and offered to deliver Jesus in exchange for money. At that moment, Judas became the spy or used in the term of “ambush, ambuscade, snare.” This was the day Judas chose to betray Christ.
Matthew 26:14-16
Then one of the twelve disciples - the one named Judas Iscariot – went to the chief priests and asked, “What will you give me if I betray Jesus to you?” They counted out thirty silver coins and gave them to him. From then on Judas was looking for a good chance to hand Jesus over to them.
The next events of Holy Week:
Last Supper or Maundy Thursday (Holy Thursday) – the feast that marks the beginning of Paschal Triduum and commemorates the Washing of the Feet (Maundy) by Jesus of the Apostles ad the Last Supper of Jesus
Passion of Jesus or Good Friday (Holy Friday) – the day that commemorates the crucifixion of Jesus and his death at Calvary (Golgotha)
Great Saturday (Holy Saturday) – For Western Christians, this concludes Holy Week which is the last week of Lent with Christ’s death and descent into hell on Holy Saturday

Mercoledi Santo
La Domenica delle Palme è stata l'inizio della Settimana Santa che dura sette giorni fino alla Pasqua, che include gli eventi importanti di seguito, tuttavia, oggi parlerò del Giorno del Tradimento o Mercoledì Santo.
Il Mercoledì Santo nel cristianesimo, commemora il Patto di Giuda come spia clandestina all'interno dei discepoli e per questo è anche chiamato Mercoledì delle tradimento. Nel Nuovo Testamento, dopo la Domenica delle Palme, il Sinedrio (l'assemblea legislativa e giudiziaria ebraica) si riunì e complottarono per uccidere Gesù prima della festa di Pesach (Pasqua ebraica).
Il mercoledì prima della sua morte, Gesù si trovava con i suoi discepoli nella casa di Simone il lebbroso. Una donna di nome Maria unse la testa e i piedi di Gesù con olio di nardo costoso e i discepoli si chiedevano perché l'olio non fosse stato venduto e il denaro dato ai poveri. Ma Giuda Iscariota, uno dei 12 apostoli di Gesù, volle il denaro per sé e andò dal Sinedrio e si offrì di liberare Gesù in cambio di denaro. In quel momento, Giuda divenne la spia o usato con il termine di "imboscata, laccio". Questo fu il giorno in cui Giuda scelse di tradire Cristo.
Matteo 26:14-16
Allora uno dei Dodici, chiamato Giuda Iscariota, andò dai capi di sacerdoti e disse: “Quanto volete darmi perché io ve lo consegni?”. E quelli gli fissarono trenta monete d'argento. Da quel momento cercava l'occasione propizia per consegnarlo.

Ultima Cena o Giovedì Santo – la festa che segna l'inizio del Triduo Pasquale e commemora la Lavanda dei Piedi da parte di Gesù degli Apostoli e l'Ultima Cena di Gesù
Passione di Gesù o Venerdì Santo – il giorno che commemora la crocifissione di Gesù e la sua morte al Calvario (Golgota)
Grande Sabato o Sabato Santo – Per i cristiani occidentali, questo conclude la Settimana Santa, che è l'ultima settimana di Quaresima, con la morte di Cristo e la discesa agli inferi il Sabato Santo
