Ham and Cheese Pizza Rolls

Makes 8 - 10 Rolls

Like the zucchini version this one has no zucchini and simple ham and cheese so that kids can have them as a snack or for lunch.


1 Pillsbury pizza crust dough

1 tbsp flour

3 tbsp mayonnaise

9 ham slices

9 cheese slices

1 egg

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese


  1. Unroll pizza dough and sprinkle with flour

  2. Using a rolling pin roll out pizza dough until 1/8th inch thick

  3. Spread mayonnaise all over dough

  4. Lay ham on top of dough

  5. Place cheese slices on top of ham layer

  6. Starting at the short end, roll up the pizza dough

  7. Cover the dough with saran wrap and put into fridge for 15 minutes

  8. Preheat oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper

  9. Unroll each pizza log and cut into 8 pieces thick or 10 thinner pieces

  10. Place pieces on to baking sheet

  11. Beat egg brush on each roll

  12. Bake for 20 minutes and sprinkle cheddar cheese all over the rolls

  13. Bake ten more minutes until cheese if gooey

  14. Take out and let sit for five minutes

  15. Serve with a salad or zesty ranch dip
