Happy Labour Day - A Day that is more than a long weekend and BBQs, but to honour those that fought for our rights.

And now, I find myself standing at the beginning of a life I never expected to live. So, I have been asking myself, what is my new normal?

Sometimes life gives us the gift of distance. Distance allows us to step away from the familiar, experience something new, and eventually return with a different perspective. We begin to notice the beauty that was always there but perhaps hidden behind the comfort of familiarity.

There are many things in life that seem important, the endless to-do lists, the chores waiting to be done, and the commitments that fill our calendars. But every once in a while, we're gifted with a gentle reminder of what matters most.

Today we celebrate our 42nd anniversary and the world and I say goodbye for the last time. You have been and will always be the love of my life, my soul mate, the father of my children, the grandfather to our grandchildren, the brother, the cousin, the uncle and the friend.

It didn’t arrive all at once. Agony, in the presence of death, is slow and uneven—like waves that don’t keep rhythm.

Reaching my 1500th blog post feels both surreal and deeply gratifying. What began as a small corner of the internet has grown into a living, breathing space filled with ideas, experiences, lessons, and stories. Over time, this website has evolved into more than just a platform — it has become a reflection of curiosity, creativity, and a genuine passion for sharing meaningful content and to remind everyone to “Live life well always, because we only have one!”
